Not only am I a spring baby (born the day after spring) I love this time of year, its planting season for me. I have love working in the yard and love playing not only with paper flowers but real flowers too! We worked hard this season to get the house looking in better shape. it has been long neglected. The first thing I wanted to do is to make the front of the house look better than it did. It just didn't have any cuteness to it LOL. I took a day or two off from work and since Hercules was home from work, we worked hard around the house this week. I wanted to share with you some of my outdoor pots that I have been making. I will change a few out when summer gets here.

Let me introduce our cat Percy! He is a big baby but loves the outdoors. He really is a dog dressed up as a cat. He has a cat door, so he comes and goes all the time BUT when you don't feed him when he wants you to feed him, he will bring us a surprise. Maybe a bird, salamander or anything else he can catch and bring inside and place in his food bowl. He definitely keeps us on our toes!!!

The front porch so far is my favorite spot! The cat loves hanging out here since the salamanders live around here. I am well aware that the pot does not fit into the bike but you really can't tell Hercules anything LOL I will move it next week when he goes back to work.

Just planted the geraniums last weekend and they have doubled in size! Still have a lot more plants to find homes for but I should be finished this weekend.

This pot I am proud to say I got on clearance at Marshalls and only paid $3.00 for it! It makes a nice home for some of my plants I bought this week. Make sure when you plant in these bucket that do not have holes at the bottom, put some rocks at the bottom.

Just planted these yesterday, can't wait to see what they look like next week! My herb pot has a special sage called pineapple. I LOVE IT!!! I can't wait to use it in some of my infused water and homemade airfreshners. I also planted Lemon Balm and Rosemary. Some of my favorites.

My daughter picked this snail out today when we went shopping, he looks so cute!!

We planted these Hostas two weeks ago and they have tripled in size. if you notice the plug that is in the back, on the house, I want to put a fountain here. Its on my wish list! All plants you see here are newbies!! They are doing really well here too.

Every time we go to Home Depot , we pick up some of these rocks. We want to place them all around the house as a border. I wanted to start by the tree since this section of the house was not looking very pretty at all. I need to relocate the hotas here since it is not happy. too much sun, so I am replanting that one this weekend.

This side of the yard is in development. I have a lot more plants to place down and hopefully my Memorial day it will look pretty. Everything takes time and we are no strangers to the waiting game LOL. My cute frog watering the plants will keep an eye out for them until we get everything down.
I hope to update everyone next month of the back of the house. We have a deck that needs to come down and redo. We have so many things that need to get done but we made a list and we are slowly checking them off!
Happy Spring everyone, see you back here soon!
